Attendees had the chance to try out new art supplies, watch demonstrations, and meet the instructors!

Joliet Area Historical Museum
New Exhibit! "Asian Games: The Art of Contest"
The museum had Asian arts on display, and demonstrations of dance, martial arts, and Manga. Japanese
Comics art instructor Susan Sieber demonstrated how to draw Manga from 3-5pm! She had her original artwork on display,
demonstrated how to draw expressions and action poses, and shared her experiences from living in Japan. Tanoshii desu!

MCC Craft Fair
Hundreds of crafters displayed and sold handmade candles, cards, jams, scarves, jewelry, holiday
decor, and more at McHenry County College's Craft Fair! Silk painter Susan Sieber displayed her handpainted
silk scarves, pillows and gift bags at the Uzushio Silks booth, and instructor Michael Williamson had his nature photography
greeting cards for sale.
